Hi. I am the owner of Busy Bee Preschool LLC. I have worked with children for over 20 years in one capacity or another. I enjoy watching them grow into confident and successful learners. I have a degree in Psychology and continue to take classes/trainings to further my knowledge in the field of child development. I am a mentor for new Child Care providers for Weld County. I have been a resident of Firestone for over 15 years. I am one of the founding board members of this association and strive to assist other providers in continuing to offer the best child care programs in the community.

About Carbon Valley Child Care Association
Carbon Valley Child Care Association was founded in August 2012.  CVCCA was founded based on the needs of the child care providers in the lower Weld County Area.

Carbon Valley Child Care Association was created by local home providers to bring resources and trainings to Lower Weld County Providers.  CVCCA is open to all licensed home providers, child care providers in centers, parents, and others who work with children.

Hi, I own Little Blessings Preschool, located in Firestone. I have been in preschool/childcare for 8 years. I have two children of my own, and have a degree in Early Childhood Education. I love teaching ages 3-5, because they are so curious and open to new experiences.
Josie Hamlin is a native of Colorado. She was born in Boulder and grew up on a cattle ranch outside of Kersey. She now lives just west of Firestone close to friends and family. After graduating from the University of Northern Colorado, she has been teaching for over 8 years and couldn’t see herself doing anything that she loves as much. It has always been a dream of hers to have her own preschool program and that dream is now a reality in Catching Butterflies Preschool LLC.

In her spare time Josie loves camping trips with her family and dog Dixie. She likes to pretend she is an expert fisher-woman when on the lake. She and Dixie also spends time on her parent’s ranch, riding horses, 4-wheeling, feeding the animals, and bar-b-queuing. Family, friends, and her dog Dixie are the most important things in life. She loves to sing, dance, play, teach, and create… this is just what she does in her classroom each day.
